Chinwag is a bistro-style, full-service restaurant at 1440 Medical Center Parkway in The Fountains at Gateway, founded in 2026 by Murfreesboro native Alex Belew, the Season 21 winner of Hell's Kitchen, and Shane Nasby, founder of Cledis Burgers & Beer. The casual restaurant describes its food as blending smoke, fire, fresh ingredients and cooking techniques from around the world. It also offers a full cocktail, beer and wine program. The dinner menu includes snacks such as brisket nachos and General Tso wings, salads, wood-fired Wagbread flatbreads, and entrées including the Wag Burger, steak frites, miso salmon and a 12-hour short rib.
