The Walking Horse Owners Association of America (WHOA) is a 501(c)(5) nonprofit organization founded in 1976 for the purpose of advocating for and promoting the Tennessee Walking Horse. The organization boasts over 1,000 members and has affiliated 279 shows with over 63,400 entries in the last five years, offering programs including shows, versatility events, clinics, trail rides, and an annual awards banquet.
